Memories from South Korea and Japan

The last couple of days in South Korea was amazing. We went to the Honda Plant, as well as the largest shipbuilding plant in the world. I was very excited to see how the cruise ships were built. Also, in Korea, we went up their highest mountain. That mountain was very high. The view seemed as if you were on an airplane. At our Lottie World Hotel we went to the Lottie World theme park. I had a blast. There were several rides to choose from and their entertainment show was fantastic. During our last couple of days in Korea, we did a lot of shopping. That was very fun. I got a lot of nice gifts for my family and friends. On our final day, we went to the IFEZ corporation. I was very fascinated to find out there building project that they plan on having finished by 2011. It was also amazing to discover that a lot of the buildings in Korea was built on reclaimed land. Korea is already a great place now; in a couple of more years, they will be unstoppable.

Japan was sooo much fun. When we first got there, the first thing I noticed was that the bus driver from the airport seemed to be, in my eyes, driving on the wrong side of the road. I soon realized that that was just the side of the road in which they drive on in Japan. They also have their sterning wheel on the right side instead of on the left side. After we checked in the Holiday Inn Hotel, we took a one in a half hour train to Tokyo, Japan. That city was better than I had ever imagined. There were like millions of people out there. There were also big bright lights everywhere. The Japanese restaurant in which we ate at was great. After which, we went exploring the rest of the city. There were bands singing on the streets and other people just walking around like us. We walked into there Karaoke bar for a little while. Later that night, we took a taxi back to our hotel. The next day, we went to the mall in Narita, Japan. That was fun. The mall was actually similar to the malls we have here. After we left the mall, it was time to leave the wonderful country of Japan and head back to the United States.

Life in South Korea

My experience in South Korea has been excellent thus far. First I think ill back up and tell a few of the things that happened before we arrived in Korea. As you may know or not know I had my first flight experience when we flew from Atlanta, Georgia to San Francisco, California. The ride was very fun. I wasn't scared at all. But anyway enough about me; well be get to San Francisco to find out that our flight to Korea was delayed about two hours. That two hours turned into the next day because our flight ended up being canceled. Although that put a little damper on our trip, we made the best out of it by spending a wonderful night in San Francisco. To make a long story short, that San Francisco night was filled with lots and lots of memories.
The next day , we finally make our long flight to Korea. The flight did not seem as long as I had imagined it would. Once we arrived in Korea, we were greeted by our tour guide Cindy. She is like the best tour guide ever. She knows everything!!!!!lol. Our hotel here is great. It is equip with an amazing shopping mall, theme park, ice skating rink, and other great things. The hotel I am referring to is none other than Lotte World Hotel. I must not forget to mention the amazing customer service in Korea. They are like the nicest people ever. A few of the wonderful events we have embarked upon thus far would include seeing a Korea traditional dance, eating at the Korea House, visiting the Gyeong Bok Palace, Korea Folk Village, seeing an amazing JUMP performance, eating at the Bellagio, visiting Chung Ang University in both Seoul and An Sung, visiting Posco which is is the fourth largest steel plant, and touring the Bul Kook Temple and Suk Gul Am.

The Korean food is not as bad as I first imagined it would be. There are a lot of good Korean dishes. Today we actually tried to Korean version of Pizza Hut. At first we thought it was going to be horrible, but the pizza was really good. It reminded us of the US. Well that's all for now ill keep ya posted.

Ten Days Til Take Off

I am very excited about going on this trip. At the same time, I am a little nervous because I have never been on an airplane before. In the past couple of days, I have been getting new outfits and other items that I will need for the trip. It is a great opportunity to be able to be selected to go on such an esteemed trip. I can not wait until it is time to board the plane and head off for South Korea and Japan.
